Auf den Konsolen ist die Demo zu Spec Ops: The Line schon erhältlich. Nun hat 2K Games bestätigt, dass PCler mit der Probierfassung am 12. Juni 2012 versorgt werden. Die Demo bietet dabei zwei Kapitel aus dem Anfang von Spec Ops: The Line. Darüber hinaus wurden die Systemanforderungen verraten, während als DRM-Kopierschutz Steamworks dient.
